This brings us to one of the most obscure takes yet, a rusted sacai x Nike Blazer Mid.The color is used to represent oxidized metal as coats of paint perfectly portray rust build up in certain parts of the shoe.Inspired by aged-rusted sneakers, this silhouette has been stripped of any color as it dons an all-over white upper and midsole.Other than rust, the shoe comes distressed to further push the vision of old, rusty and falling apart.

Nike Sneakers string of artist collaborators in 2019 has been unparalleled.The latest in these collaborators is artist Lauren Halsey, a Los Angeles native whose work revolves around class discrimination and the systemic oppression of both the LGBTQ and African-American communities. So far, the Swoosh has released dozens of projects this year, each giving someone with a unique perspective and background a chance to share themselves through footwear. The outer heels feature Halsey’s price Instagram handle , while the tongue labels preach the ideals of Neighborhood, Autonomy, and Pride.  Halsey brings those same themes to the plate with her Nike project, which sees her using the Air Force 1 High ’07 as a canvas.Lauren Halsey x Nike Air Force 1 High ’07 LE Decked out in an all-black upper, the main body of the shoe is constructed from leather, with soft suede overlays for reinforcement.Mismatched green and crimson laces are used for a spot of color, while patent, 3M, and translucent options for the Swoosh and ankle strap complete the project.
