The sneaker is designed with a black mesh upper, leaving the spotlight all to the shimmering Adidas Cyber Monday Sale detail at the midsole. Cast in an orange and yellow ombré, the plastic panel adds the main pop of color to the style. Meanwhile, neon green hits on the tongue pull tab and heel logo bring in a bit of vibrancy on their own. The simple white outsole constructed with EVA foam houses the brand’s signature Boost technology, rounding out the footwear.


For its latest release, the P.O.D. S3.1  model  features an adaptive Primeknit Look For construction across the upper, bolstered by suede overlay details including the lace panel and 3-stripe mark. The shoe’s black upper is then accented with bungee elastic details on the heel and tongue, placed atop the shoe’s distinctive split midsole, featuring supportive EVA rubber in the forefoot and Boost cushioning in the heel.


As we anticipate the upcoming Adidas Black Friday 2021 collaboration, adidas is priming to release new in-house takes on the POD-S3.1 model, most recently unveiling a “Core Black/Real Lilac” colorway with mesh panels. This version of the runner features a two-piece upper consisting of dark grey suede at the rear and white mesh at the forefoot. The simple colorway is accented with “Real Lilac” tabs at the heel and lacing system, as well as a neon green midfoot arch support. All of this sits atop a podular sole unit with a white BOOST heel.


Next up for the silhouette is an upcoming Adidas Pod S3.1 Blast Emerald/Core Black iteration that nods to the traffic officer uniforms. This release features a Black knitted upper with matching Black Three Stripes on the side, while three embroidered Chinese characters cover the medial forefoot. Pops of Neon Yellow adds for a nice contrast while sitting atop a White midsole with Boost in the heel and a Grey rubber outsole.
