Adidas Stan Smith Black Friday


A little known and now rarely seen detail of some of the vintage versions of the Adidas Stan Smith Women is brought back with this latest release of the iconic tennis sneaker. One look and you can probably guess what it is: the added “Stan Smith” name in gold foil on the lateral side of each shoe. The construction of this new version also matches the vintage pairs, with a thinner tongue and premium leather, making the shoe look much more as it would have in the 1980’s.

Paris’ Colette have stepped up to the adidas Originals colab plate to take a subdued swing at the court classic and recently resurrected Adidas Stan Smith Men. True to all things Colette, the silhouette features an all white base with a bit of Colette Blue popping off the heel tab, toe and tongue detailing. This is a limited release with only 100 pairs going to retail so best jump at them if you’re interested.

That Concepts x adidas project that was promised is of the Adidas Stan Smith for sale persuasion. The Boston shop just dropped off their first view of the shoes, which shows off the back end and a bit of the jacquard flavor of the upper. The first teaser shot also comes with a release date – you’ll be able to find these at the boutique in question come October 25th, 2014.

The Adidas Stan Smith Discount has taken a back seat to the Superstar 80s as this year’s retro three stripe model of choice, but that doesn’t mean that the tennis classic has showed any signs of slowing down. The latest look pairs a clean white leather upper complete with black Adidas Stan Smith Black Friday tongue branding with a classic gum outsole.
